Programming

Rasa Design Studio’s programming services include the development of custom PHP applications and dependent scripts as well as the modification of popular applications such as osCommerce and WordPress. Rasa Design Studio is able to handle most small-business programming jobs in house as a solo developer and able to scale up for large projects through our extended network of programmers and designers as needed.

Using PHP/mySQL as the base server-side script, we also employ XHTML/CSS tableless design, javascript (including ajax, JQuery, Json, mootools, etc) xml, and other scripts and markup languages as needed.

Our primary focus is on osCommerce, CSS osCommerce and WordPress, but we’ll consider any PHP development job that looks interesting as capacity allows.

Pricing Guidelines

For the most part, Rasa Design Studio charges a flat fee based on a solid and detailed “work statement” for all PHP jobs. We average $20-$30 per man hour of work.

The following base flat fees are for standard jobs that we do often:

  • osCommerce Classic (Upload and configure, only): $200
  • osCommerce Classic (Contributions added): $20-$50 per contribution for most contributions. $200 for GVCC.
  • Conflicting Contribution Resolution: $200 down + $20 per hour after 5 hours.
  • Tableless CSS osCommerce v.3.0 (Code, only): $30
  • Tableless CSS osCommerce v.3.0 (Code and Design): $1,600 – $4,500 depending on the needs of the client.
  • WordPress (Upload and configure): $50
  • WordPress (Design Custom Business (non-blog) Template): $800 – $1,600
