Where a picture is worth a thousand words, it’s amazing how many retail eCommerce sites spend all their budget on gorgeous designs only to fall flat on cheap snapshots of their products.
Even clients with the photography budgets underestimate the demands of professional product photography, opting to hire a “photographer” to just take care of the details. The fact is that very few photographers specialize in product photography or have the necessary studio set-up for every type of job. Fewer still understand the need to work in teams with make-up artists, hairstylists, wardrobe specialists when models are needed, or have access to a wide and professional model base.
